The Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness has posted Notice of Intended Contract Awards
The Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness solicited proposals from agencies based in Sarasota County engaged in strategies and programs intended to prevent homelessness. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) was to provide emergency financial assistance to low-income eligible persons at imminent risk of losing their permanent housing and becoming homeless and to homeless individuals and families seeking to secure housing. The maximum amount of funds that any one grantee could apply for and receive is $50,000.
The following agencies have been awarded allocations from the Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness:
Jewish Family and Children Services - $50,000 Salvation Army - Sarasota Area Command - $41,500 Catholic Charities Project HOME - $41,500 |

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released the Policy Requirements and General Section of the fiscal year (FY) 2007 Super Notice of Funding Availability (SuperNOFA). The General Section was released early to allow applicants for funding to become familiar with it before the release of the FY 2007 SuperNOFA, early in 2007. http://www.grants.gov/search/search.do?mode=VIEW&oppId=12304 ** The HUD SuperNOFA application itself has not yet been released.
